> GASFLUX ® process |
|
In the GASFLUX® process the flux is introduced in the torch flame in a vaporized form as a result of the fuel gas flowing through a volatile liquid containing alcohol and boric anhydride in a saturator, an apparatus called AUTOFLUX. The flame is thus both fluxing and protecting. With this process bronze-welding can be performed without using the powders, pastes or coating usually applied. Its use remains efficient on all metals with the exception of aluminium. It is necessary to use a desiccator placed before the AUTOFLUX for wet gases. Automation of the GASFLUX® process optimizes production rates. |
